Question: Is anything really original? Every work of art has evolved and drawn from some inspiration. Weather it is from the art and beauty of the people and world around us, or from other art. In the film you see a lot of geometric designs, as well as these women coiled from neck to ankle. These women almost have a geometric look to them. One could take this observation and question where the art form cubism came from? (Cubism definition: an early 20th-century style and movement in art, especially painting, in which perspective with a single viewpoint was abandoned and use was made of simple geometric shapes, interlocking planes, and, later, collage.) So is anything really original?
