I don’t know how to handle this Management question and need guidance.
i went on tour to visit a company and my part is to answer these questions, I have the answers I just need someone to write the paper and expand on the answers.
My part:
a. Can your recommendations be implemented without EAB spending more money?
Yes, my rececommendtion is to hire more employees in one area where there is one person working as in packing. and reduce the one employee in the area where there is 3 people working such as installation of plastic materials. Also, another recommendation is to clean a bit of space and offer it for rent for another company since they have a huge factory and they are only using have of it.
c. From your analysis, how do you think EAB has or should address the one problem you identified?
trying to balance the number of employees in each task since its unbalanced because in someplace you will find one person working and 3 in other tasks which will effect the productivity
d. After your analysis, identify two areas EAB can instantly make improvements based on their strengths and weaknesses.
look for more companies to have more stuff to do and ask the companies they are working with at the moment to if they have more jobs.
thinking how to get a batter use of there facility since they have a huge space but they are using less then half of it.
e. Describe two main ways EAB can reduce costs and waste.
save energy by not working in the whole factory but the space they need and use electricity for that space only
since its a small factory, try minimize the number of people working the office area
f. Analyze two main ways the company can use sourcing strategies?
I dont know the answer for this one
