Every city in the State of California is required by law to have a General Plan. The General Plan is required to have the following seven elements:
1. Land Use 2. Circulation 3. Housing 4. Conservation 5. Open Space 6. Noise 7. Safety
Cities can add additional elements and sometimes they use different names for the above elements.
Go to the Campton’s(California) website and find their general plan. Write about the following:
What elements does it have?
Review three of the elements in more depth.
Identify an additional element that you think the city should include in the General Plan.
