I’m working on a Communications exercise and need support.
I would be expecting a detailed research paper noting the impact or role of organizational communication in healthcare systems, and the examples used must be associated in some way back to org comm theories. The textbook to reference is “Fundamentals of Organizational Communication” – Ninth Edition by Pamela Shockley-Zalabak. Examples of changes produced by way of organizational communication include; trends hospital systems are using by branching out in the form of surgery centers and other ambulatory centers of care (walk-in ER’s), bringing the care to communities instead of the traditional hospital setup. Another example of org comm implementation in healthcare to use is the trend of outpatient surgery over inpatient surgery and the conversions or technology being built to facilitate more outpatient procedures. I believe this will provide adequate research material to write an effective paper.
