Choose a peer-reviewed article from your developing literature review(My research is about library and information science-Chinese High school library improvement and I read both sides of American high school library things and Chinese high school library things) and in a paper of, say, 5 to 7 pages (double spaced) address the following questions:
What are the research questions and purpose of the study? Does the study take a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods approach to the research problem?
What are the key elements that make up the research design? (Use Creswell as a guide.)
What benefits does the research design bring to the study? What limitations?
In what way(s) could the researcher have executed the study and report better?
In crafting your review, write clearly and concisely, but render a precise and detailed accounting of the questions above and of anything else that you feel is pertinent to your analysis.
You will submit your paper, but also be prepared to share a synopsis of your review orally in a class discussion. The class discussion will be an opportunity to share some of the challenges that you faced in conducting your analysis and any lingering questions you may have about the work.
