The alternate Major Project assignment for non-ACE majors is two (2) parts:
Part 1: a one-page summary of your ‘best’ online college course to include:
- Be very specific and provide detailed examples of what made the course the most enjoyable, i.e., instructor, instructor feedback, quizzes, exams, course content, online visual aids, etc.
- One thing you would have changed if you were the instructor.
- What are three (3) outcomes of the course that you use today in your current employment, academics, life, etc. If not three outcomes, why?
Part 2: Find an article that highlights online teaching methodology that you find interesting. Summarize the content of the article in one-half of a page. Then, list one concept contained in the article that you would like incorporated into all online courses.
