I don’t know how to handle this Writing question and need guidance.
In this discussion, you will reflect on US workforce demographics.
Answer the following questions and follow the topic guidelines to create your posting:
1. Go to www.diversityinc.com. At the very top, click on the top 50 list. Choose 2 companies of interest and (1) give a brief overview of the companies (what are they known for, their mission, etc..) and (2) Discuss ONE way that they (each individual company) have placed a special emphasis on diversity (e.g. recruiting techniques, retention strategies, etc.). Explain if you agree that this is a “best practice” in recruiting a retaining a diverse workforce. Your response should be at least 500 words.
2. What challenges does the workforce skills gap pose to health care organizations? (please cite one reference in your response. You may use your book).
3. Refer to Figure 3.1 in your book. Can the social factors that contribute to disparities in workforce representation and career accomplishment for people of color be overcome? Please state at least one policy action by the government that you would recommend and why.
