In the past ten years, the use of mobile devices has changed the way people live their lives. What started as “cell phones” have evolved from simple devices to make phone calls to a portable computer that can track every movement and connect you to the world. Mobile devices can track a person’s steps, location, diagnose sleep patterns, and provide medical data. One mobile contains 7,000+ drug references, 3,500+ disease clinical references, 2,500+ clinical images and procedure videos and has been referred to as “mind numbing” due to the volume of content. The power of mobile technology has grown more than most electronics and computer segments due to people’s desire for better, faster, smaller products.
