Leaders have a primary responsibility of inspiring others towards the achievement of the desired results. Strong and successful leaders, therefore, must portray a great prowess in identifying the right strategies to adopt to enable the realization of such goals. In that case, it becomes evident that power, influence, advocacy, and authenticity form a significant aspect of leadership (Sherman, 2018). There is no possibility of having a leader without influence since it through this that they show the direction for others to follow. The leader thus must develop a positive perception and visibility, which makes people listen to whatever he or she says. This then makes people follow and trust the leader willfully.
Moreover, a strong leader has to defend his or her juniors portraying a high degree of advocacy with the interest of the subjects being a priority. It also makes it possible for the leader to remain authentic since the people naturally enjoy having an association with the leader. The relationships built in such situations are essential toward the building of a stronger and winning team (Morale and Discipline). Besides, strong leaders tend to show a high degree of power, which they do not use to diminish the dignity of the people they lead instead to create an atmosphere where everyone feels highly exalted and cherished. Such creates a team that is willing to embrace the vision as shown by the leader.
