Essay #4: Facing the Future – In a 1000-1200 word paper, compare and contrast the nature of HR and changes needed to make it a more effective function. Compare the Bates article to our first article by Hammonds. What are the practices in which the HR function needs to improve in order to help the organization better carry out its mission and remove the stigma from HR as simply a ”necessary evil” as Hammonds states in “Why We Hate HR?”
